My Current Obsessions: CHANEL & Guerlain

Hello my loves, today I wanted to share my two current obsessions: CHANEL Rouge Coco Lipstick in Magnolia (#117) and Guerlain Meteorites Perles in Teint Rose. 

Recently, I made a trip to Sephora (Surprise surprise) and decided to splurge on the Guerlain Meteorites Perles. I have always wanted to try it but have never brought myself to dish out the money. The packaging in itself is absolutely gorgeous and excuse enough to buy it. It looks SO beautiful on my vanity! Aside from packaging the actual product is pretty amazing. The little beads blend together to give a flawless shimmery yet not glittery finish to the skin. I use it as my setting powder and although it leaves a shimmery finish it surprisingly leaves my skin pretty matt. This retails for $56 for 1.2 oz.

For as long as I can remember I have been on the hunt for the perfect everyday lipstick and I have finally found it! CHANEL has recently released their newest collection and I picked up the Rouge Coco Lipstick in Magnolia (#117). The pictures really don't do it justice, it is actually a beautiful rosy pink in person. I am OBSESSED with this color and have been wearing it every single day since i bought it. This is my new go to lipstick and have gotten may compliments on it. The texture is very creamy and super moisturizing to the lips. This retails for $32.50

NARS vs Illamasqua

Hello beautiful people! As most of you know blush has to be my absolute favorite makeup product, I'm OBSESSED! So I am pretty good at distinguishing the good from the bad. NARS and Illamasqua have to be my favorite brands when it comes to blush. They are both so pigmented and blendable and have such a wide range of colors and textures to choose from.

Illamasqua

Blushes I own:

1. Ambition: Shimmery neutral pink

2. Chased: Lilac pink

3. Hussy: Bright petal pink

4. Katie: Light milky pink (Identical to MAC Well Dressed blush)

5. Lover: Vibrant apricot

6. Morale: Shimmering magenta pink

7. Thrust: Magenta

I would have to say that Morale is my favorite of the bunch, it is so incredibly beautiful on the skin. If you are just starting out with Illamasqua blushes I would recommend Ambition or Katie, they are both very easy, everyday, wearable colors. I would have to say that Exhibit A is quickly becoming my favorite. Its a vibrant red color that looks very intimidating in the pan but blended into the skin is very beautiful. If you are just starting out with NARS i would recommend Deep Throat or Douceur. February Favorites

Hello hello beautiful people! For the month of February I have been loving so many amazing products and thought to share them with you all. My favorite lip combo of the moment is my YSL Rouge Volupte in #2 and NARS Ophelia lip gloss over top. The combo leaves the lips with a very beautiful and sexy nude sheen. Plus the YSL lipstick is SO moisturizing to the touch!

For eyes I have been OBSESSED with the NAKED 2 palette, more so than the first one. I've been using verve and ydk on the first half of my lid, snakebite on the second half of my lid, busted in the crease, and bootycall as an inner corner and brow highlight. 

For cheeks I have been reaching for my NARS DANMARI palette quite a bit. Its so convenient and easy because i have my bronzer, highlighter, and blush all in one palette, perfect for traveling! 

On my nails I have been reaching for OPI Pink Friday from the Nicki Minaj collection and OPI Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry collection. I've been wearing Teenage Dream over top of Pink Friday for a pretty and girly touch. I get SO many compliments when i wear this combo!

Lastly, I have been addicted to my Coco Mademoiselle Chanel Perfume. So feminine and sexy! LOVE!

The Grove In LA

Hey Everyone! Today I headed out to The Grove in LA for a fun day of shopping and eating. It was a bit chilly out so I decided to break out my coat from Anthropology and my House of Holland Super Suspender tights.

The tights are a bit crazy but i absolutely LOVE them! They will definitely turn heads ;)

For shoes I decided to rock my Steve Madden black pumps, really uncomfortable but super cute! Beauty is pain... right? lol 

I have on my Michael Kors Hamilton Tote bag, it goes with everything and carries so much! 

For Jewelry i kept it pretty simple and wore my Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch and my Lauren Conrad Gold Bow Ring. For nails I have on OPI Vodka and Caviar
